Actress Angela Okorie has fired back at her ex-lover, Oil Money, after he accused her of having romantic relationships with several Nollywood stars.
Oil Money on Tuesday stirred controversy on social media after publishing names and photos of actors including Yul Edochie and Zubby Michael, claiming they had all dated the actress. The claims quickly went viral, drawing backlash and raising questions about his motives.
Angela Okorie, however, wasted no time in responding. In a video posted on social media on Wednesday, the singer and actress denied the allegations, describing them as fabricated lies by a bitter ex trying to tarnish her image.
“When these scammers can’t con you, they start fabricating stories. Posting lists of people that supposedly slept with me, including those who probably only know him through his mother. A man with nine children by six women wants to marry me? Keep hiding your face and making up lies—God will keep judging you,” she said.
Angela further accused Oil Money of altering her age on Wikipedia to sabotage her chances of finding love.
“You went so far as editing my Wikipedia page just to stop men from marrying me? And you’re proud of that? Everything you write about me is a reflection of who you truly are. You even lift photos from my page just to bait others—but sadly for you, I don’t keep gullible friends,” she wrote.
She also referred to him as a “deranged liar” and said he uses her social media content to draw attention to himself.
“You are a lesson I regret learning. You’ll never come near me again. You post dozens of women daily, yet you obsess over one. You need Jesus,” she concluded.
Angela’s strong response comes months after her short-lived relationship with Oil Money ended.
While the exact cause of their breakup was initially unclear, several online reports have since emerged detailing what may have led to the fallout.
According to social media blogs and viral videos, the relationship collapsed due to multiple issues, including mutual accusations of infidelity. Oil Money claimed Angela was unfaithful and implied her interests were tied to luxury and material gains. He also alleged he spent over N300 million on her before she walked away.
In contrast, Angela reportedly accused him of cheating on her with her colleagues and labeled him a liar and manipulator.
