Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have once again made French football their own, clinching a 10th Ligue 1 title in the last 12 seasons, underscoring their domination in the domestic league.

With a 24-point lead over second-place Monaco and just six games left, Paris Saint-Germain has already secured this year’s title. Their dominance is not up for debate as the team continues to operate like a finely tuned machine, consistently winning and pushing boundaries.

Luis Enrique’s side has been merciless, with their 6-1 thrashing of St Etienne a clear statement of their strength. They extended their unbeaten away run to an impressive 38 games, matching a record held by AC Milan in the early 90s.

While their 1-0 win against Angers on Saturday was less glamorous, it marked another milestone in a season that has been anything but competitive.

PSG’s unbeaten run in the league is another potential record, leaving little doubt that they are on another level compared to their French rivals. Enrique, who has only lost two of his 61 league games with PSG, noted, “We’ve been the best team since the start of the season. We’ve been champions for weeks now.”

Even with Kylian Mbappé’s departure, PSG’s dominance hasn’t wavered. The team has evolved, now relying on a more collective effort, with Ousmane Dembele stepping up to lead the charge. His 23 goals this season have even sparked talks of a potential Ballon d’Or challenge.

The club’s transformation under Enrique is not just limited to domestic success. Their impressive Champions League victory over Liverpool in the last 16 hinted at a stronger, more determined Paris Saint-Germain. Now, a quarterfinal clash against Aston Villa awaits, and the French Cup final against Stade de Reims offers yet another opportunity to assert their dominance.

With the league title secured, Enrique’s focus is on keeping the team motivated and ready for the challenges ahead. “We still have important matches to play,” he said, stressing the need to remain sharp as the season progresses.

For Paris Saint-Germain, Ligue 1 has become almost a formality. But as always, their real goal remains continental glory—the one title that has so far eluded them.
