It’s heart-wrenching to lose a 42-year-old just five years after losing her dad, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.  The Ajimobi family lost their eldest child, Abisola Kola-Daisi on Thursday morning in the United Kingdom

Late Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s eldest daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi, is dead.

Bisola, a close friend of popular American reality star, Khloe Kardashian, and Malika Haqq died after a brief illness.

News of her tragic death, as expected, spread on social media and caught the attention of Nigerians, as her death comes after her father’s five years ago.

1 Abisola was fondly called Abi-KD, and her birthday was on March 12

2 She was a Nigerian entrepreneur, fashion enthusiast, and public figure. She is the founder and CEO of Florence H Luxury, a leading luxury retail brand in Lagos, Nigeria, established in 2012. Born in Lagos and raised in California, she earned a degree in Finance from California State University, Northridge. Her career spans banking, oil and gas, and shipping industries before transitioning to her passion for fashion.

3 She is the eldest daughter of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, and wife of Kolapo Kola-Daisi. Known for her luxurious lifestyle, she has a strong presence in Nigeria’s high society and has been involved in fashion events globally. Recently, she was appointed as Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, showcasing her growing influence in politics and corporate sectors.

4 She attended the British School of Lomé, Togo, where she learned to speak French fluently, before moving to the United States of America to obtain an AA Degree from Santa Monica College. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University and an MBA from the United Kingdom.

In 2022, she completed a Master’s degree in the power and influence of positive influence at Harvard Business School. After graduating from college in the United States, Abisola worked as a Senior Manager (Retail) at Victoria’s Secret before returning home to complete the National Youth Service Corps in Nigeria. In 2008, she joined Saje Shipping, a subsidiary of MRS Oil and Gas, as the Senior Manager – Finance and Administration.

5 She has been married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, son of a billionaire industrialist from Ibadan since 2010 and blessed with three children. After their engagement ceremony on November 5, 2010, Bisola and KP’s wedding took place on November 6, 2010 in Ibadan, Nigeria.

6 She founded the AKD Foundation and the AKD Kids Foundation to care for orphans and homeless children in Nigeria. She is also a patron of the ABC Foundation, a charitable organisation founded by her mother, in Ibadan.

Abisola touched lives and impacted communities through her philanthropic deeds and was active in various charitable causes.
