President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Alhaja Lateefat Olufunke Gbajabiamila on her 95th birthday, lauding her as a “revered leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and philanthropist.”


Alhaja Gbajabiamila, the mother of the President’s Chief of Staff, Right Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, was recognized for her remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s socio-political landscape and unwavering commitment to humanity and faith.
In a statement released on Sunday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu praised the nonagenarian’s kindness, humility, and dedication to service.
Highlighting her role as the first elected female local government chairperson during the Lateef Jakande Administration, Tinubu described her as a “formidable political force in Lagos and beyond.”
“When chronicling the women who have left lasting marks on Nigeria’s socio-political landscape, Alhaja Gbajabiamila’s name will undoubtedly stand out,” the President remarked.
Expressing gratitude for her support and prayers, Tinubu prayed for her continued good health, joy, and longevity.
