It was all glitz and glamour on Sunday October 6, 2024 when Mrs Funso Kazeem-Adeoti hit 50 years and decided to throw a party to mark her birthday.
With her children all around her, the beautiful celebrant hosted friends and family members to sumptuous meals.
To the celebrant’s first daughter, Aliya, her mum is ‘beautiful, talented and more than a mum. She eulogized her mother’s strength and resilience in her speech.
But their father, Alhaji Kazeem Adeoti aka Adekaz was absent. He didn’t even acknowledge his wife’s birthday on his social media handles including Instagram where he normally celebrates Mercy Aigbe.
Recall he celebrated Funso, his first wife in 2022 where they also had a photoshoot. But he has stopped in 2023 and this year.
“Adekaz cannot celebrate Funso because he is with Mercy. He still respects her and was seen spraying her with money at a family function in the United States some months ago when he visited his children. Mind you, his kids don’t joke with him They were seen vacationing with him when he visited them and would always celebrate their wins. He is just being careul with Funso because of the strain on their marriage—Funso is adamant that Mercy cannot be his second wife because he didn’t discuss polygamy with her. She has left the house they built together for him and Mercy to be living in Lagos,” a source close to the Adeotis revealed.
