But it’s not because the new woman in Demola’s life has put up her name on Facebook as ‘Glow Ubong Okulaja’ and changed the Display Photo to that of hers and her new husband.
Surprised? Don’t be because the couple had been attending parties together in Lagos for over two months and the new husband is said to be allegedly asking to be called by his new wife’s name but musicians don’t agree especially Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshall who sang at his crashed wedding with skincare expert, Phareeda.
Glow Ubong is said to be an air hostess in the United States of America and she has been with Demola for a while.
Recall Demola and Phareeda Okulaja separated just a few weeks after their star-studded celebrity wedding in Lagos on June 1, 2023.
Phareeda, who later attempted suicide but was rescued, has suffered emotional trauma ever since.
Sources close to the couple told Kemiashefon about Phareeda’s plight.
“Phareeda is a peace-loving woman who focuses on her business and has made a name for herself in the skincare industry. She married Demola after her previous marriage crashed. She actually thought she would get the peace needed in the warm hands of Demola.
Demola, who was just returning from the United States, had dated Phareeda while they were both in London but she later married Tunde Sobowale.
It was the crash of that union that threw her into the arms of Demola who showered her with love and promised to help her do all he could to make sure she remained happy forever.
This must have prompted Phareeda, who runs the skincare outfit, HouseofPhareeda in Lagos, to release her money to Demola who spent all she gave him.
He came in jobless into Nigeria early January 2023 after serving in a US prison. It was Phareeda who rehabilitated him and gave him a face-lift. She even lent him money to do so many things while he was courting her. Already, she calculated N49million which Demola hasn’t given her a dime!
He proposed to her and she agreed to marry him. Of course, there were discrepancies from Demola but she ignored and went ahead to marry him,” revealed her friends to Kemiashefonlovehaven.
Wondering why Farida released so much money to Demola?
“First, she loved him and was ready to do anything to make her happy. Moreover, Demola was planning to sell his apartment in the United States and told Farida that he would refund all her money after the sale of the property.”
Now back from vacationing in London, Phareeda is said to have vowed to do all her best possible to have her money back.
She is said to have contacted prominent lawyers in Lagos who would represent her in court if Demola refuses to refund the N49million.
Calls made to Phareeda and Demola’s phones were not answered as at the time of filing this report.
