Late rapper, Mohbad’s widow, Omowunmi Aloba has sent a message to people asking her to conduct a DNA test on their son, Liam Aloba.

She said that those who want to find out the paternity of the six-month-old boy, can pay for the test because she does not have such money.

Her sentiments were made public by famous actress, Iyabo Ojo during a live Instagram session, where she noted that Wunmi was willing to have the DNA test done.

She, however, said that the young lady informed her that neither Mohbad’s father nor his lawyer has written her lawyer to make a formal request to take her child for the test.

According to Iyabo, Wunmi said that it is only on social media people are insisting on it because nobody has reached out to her make plans for the paternity test.

“She said no one has informed her, no one has reached out, that she is only seeing it on social media. She said her father-in-law’s lawyer has not reached out to her lawyer. Wunmi said those who want DNA test should pay for it. This is because she is managing herself and cannot afford it,” Iyabo explained.

This comes after Wunmi’s earlier claims that she has been receiving death threats. She testified before the Coroner’s Inquest sitting at Ikorodu area of Lagos on Tuesday, November 7.

The mother of one also said the threats have forced her to resort to wearing face mask whenever she is going out.

She further testified that Mohbad died in his room on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the afternoon, long before he was declared dead due to past incidents of bullying, psychological trauma, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrest.
