Fuji music icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, has completed a seven-day traditional rite in honor of his new chieftaincy title in his hometown, Ijebu-Ode.
Donning traditional white regalia and leopard skin, he emerged from his Ojushagbola family house alongside his wife, Emmanuella Ropo.
The title, “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu,” was bestowed upon K1 by the Awujale of Ijebu Land, HRM Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba Agbotewole II.
This title, once held by the late Balogun, signifies the strength and dignity of the Ijebu people.
K1 De Ultimate’s reception of this prestigious title recognizes his significant contributions to enhancing the reputation of Ijebuland and the broader Yoruba community.
Prior to this honor, he had already been granted the title of Mayegun of Yorubaland, solidifying his standing as a highly respected figure within the Yoruba community.
