A man from Ikorodu, Nigeria, who introduced himself as a chairman, shared an account of events that occurred in the midnight hours of September 12 in Ikorodu, shortly after the passing of Mohbad.
He alleged that the late singer’s father intended to conduct the burial in the middle of the night on the same day of his demise, but he intervened to prevent it.
In his statement, he said: “I didn’t permit them to proceed with the burial. They wanted to bring him for a midnight burial.”
“He contacted me, but initially, I declined and informed him that a midnight burial was not permissible here.”
