This is good news emanating from the home of Nollywood actress Chacha Eke and her husband, Austin Faani.
Just as their fans were getting worried over the crash of their marriage, the mother of four has testified that they are back as an item.
They were separated for five months.
Recall the actress took to social media, in June 2022, to announce she was done with Austin Faani and their 9-month-old marriage.
The actress and Austin, a movie director, tied the knot in 2013.
She wrote, “For the 2nd time in 2 years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors, and my parents,” she had said.
However, speaking on Sunday during a testimony session at the House on the Rock Church in Asaba, Delta State, the Chacha Eke hinted that they are back together again.
In a now-viral video of the session, the 35-year-old was seen repeatedly addressing Austin, who was also in attendance at the church, as “my husband.”
The actress narrated her battles with bipolar disorder and how it made her hate her husband and children — whom she referred to as “my treasured possessions.”
Chacha also opened up about a time the disorder made her abscond from home because she was convinced her husband wanted to use her for ritual.
The actress also shared a video from the launch of her new initiative on Instagram.
In the video, she was seen with Austin and other members of her team — further strengthening insinuations that they are back together.
Amazingly, the actress has also reverted to her husband’s name in the profile. This was after removing it during the separation.
Recall, in October 2020, Chacha announced that her marriage to Austin Fanni had ended, disclosing that he assaulted her.
She, however, retracted her statement, stating that the drama that surrounded her marriage at the time was due to the bipolar disorder she was suffering from.
The mother of four later released a video stating that she was still with her husband and that she would not leave her marriage.
