Buhari To Confer National Honour On K1 De Ultimate

Fuji Czar, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, is among the 437 nominees of the 2022 national honours awards conferred by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The music legend is a recipient of the Member of the Order of the Niger, MON award.

The awards will be presented by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the State House in Abuja.

Other prominent Migerians on the list are; the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Amina J. Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and multiple award-winning writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

While Okonjo-Iweala and Amina Mohammed would be honoured with GCON, Chimamanda would be conferred with OFR.

Others are Justice Fati Abubakar (CON), Hajia Zainab Shamsina Ahmed (CON), Adaora Umeoji (OON), Kofo Akinkugbe (OON), Funke Opeke (MON), Folasade Yemi-Esan (CFR), Justice Monica Bola’ an Dongban-Mensem (CFR), Hon. Nkeiruka C. Onyejeocha (OON), Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun (CFR), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire (OFR), Teniola Apata (aka Teni The Entertainer), MON, among others
