General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Daniel Olukoya and his wife Folashade Olukoya are celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary.
In a joint message posted on their respective Instagram pages on Thursday, November 11, the couple said they found it reassuring to see their love blossoming.
“It’s so wonderfully reassuring and feels energising to see our youthful love, play, and heart-to-heart sharing… building stronger and more robust to the Glory of God Hallelujah! Really, this has been a great strength for us in our family life and ministerial journey together,” the message read.
They quoted 1 Thessalonians 5:18 which reads “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” and Ephesians 5:20, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Then they prayed for all desirous of wonderful homes, saying “For as many that are praying for a joyous home, we pray heavenly friendship, sweet love, and unending joy into your marriage relationships in Jesus’ name. You shall always have joyous reasons to thank God for in your union too, in Jesus name.”
On the church’s Instagram page, Olukoya and his wife were celebrated with the message which reads, “Celebrating 32 years of God’s unending love.”
An admirer of the couple also made a portrait of them which was posted on the church’s Instagram page.
Born on July 15, 1957, Olukoya is a graduate of the University of Lagos.
The year of his wife’s birthday is not made public.
Olukoya founded MFM at a prayer meeting in his living room in 1989. The church now has branches in several countries.
As the main theologian of the church, he is assisted by assistant general overseers heading specific departments.
