Just a few weeks after the death of Nollywood actress, Rachel Oniga, another actor, Doris Chima, has died.
According to available reports, she died after battling breast cancer.
It was gathered that the actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and her breast was cut off to prevent further damage.
The Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Emeka Rising Ibe, announced her death on Monday.
Ibe who expressed sadness over the death of the late actress stated that the deceased was a dedicated member and a good woman.
He recalled: “She called me last week and pleaded due to ill health not to remove her from the verification exercise I embarked on to ascertain true members of the guild in Lagos.
“Yesterday morning, I got a call that she was dead. Though I am yet to visit the family, it is a great loss for us. I pray for the repose of her soul. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
