Actress Omotola Jalade has opened up on her 25 years of marriage saying she’s still with her husband not because of love but God’s grace.
Omotola Jalade opening up in an interview about her marriage said there are times that she feels she’s not in love with her husband but she reports him to God.
According to her, her husband knows she’s with him because they are partners and not that she loves him all the time as there are times the love isn’t there.
Adding that they don’t carry their marriage on their head as others do and they respect each other’s choice and that has contributed to their 25 years of being happily together.
Explaining further, she said they are partners in life and if they have issues they make sure to discuss them.
The movie star added that they both have their journeys in life and only chose to make it with the other.
She added that even if they are not with each other, they would still make that journey.
In her words: “We are partners alright and I have a journey, I chose to make that journey with you.
“You have a journey; I chose to make that journey with you. With or without you, I will make my journey. With or without me, he will make his journey.”
Also in the interview, the mother of four said that she and her husband understand that she is with him because she chose to and not because she has to. She said they respect each other’s choices, space, and wholesomeness.
