Nigerian reggae legend, Majek Fashek will be be buried in New York, USA, where he died.
The star’s first child with former wife, Rita, made the announcement in a video shared on Monday August 10.
He expressed thanks to Majek Fashek’s fans and well-wishers for their love and support, and further disclosed that they were forced to take the decision of burying the late reggae icon in New York due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fashek’s death on June 1, 2020.
He passed away while battling esophageal cancer.
He was 57 years old.
