Nigeria’s most popular cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has reacted to the protest led against him by the National Youths Council of Nigeria.
The 28-year-old denied seeing any video of any protest.
When asked by a fan, Bobrisky wrote: “You want to put me in trouble pls o. I no see any video.”
In the same vein, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has condemned the protest against her friend, Bobrisky, led by the National Youths Council of Nigeria.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the mother of one said that of all the things wrong with Nigerians, the youths are protesting against the Instagram sensation.
“MAHN F**K YOUR CULTURE…. AND BEFORE YOU INSULT ME “F**K YOU TOO,” she wrote.

The National Youths Council of Nigeria, on Wednesday, took to the streets in Abuja to protest against what it called the moral decadence of Bobrisky.
The Vice President of NYCN (North Central Zone), Mukhtar Jebba, described the activities of Bobrisky as “ungodly, unhealthy and disgusting.”
“Consequently, the NYCN today, September 18 2019 declares Bobrisky as persona non grata, as he is a man (not a woman). For national interest, we call on the ever-conscious, ever-ready, combatant Nigerian youths and comrades of like minds to, without fear or favour, kick out Bobrisky and his likes wherever they come across them. Nigeria is not a place for LGBT and we shall fight this to the end,” he added.
The Director-General of National Centre for Arts and Culture, Otunba Segun Runsewe, praised the youths for making their stand and promised that steps were being taken to curb Bobrisky.
Policemen stormed the venue of Bobrisky’s party in Lagos earlier in September.
Runsewe has been involved in a war of words with the internet personality and was allegedly behind the shutdown of Okuneye’s party.
