In a bold step to calling it quits with her man, Nollywood actress, Osas Ighodaro, has removed husband, Gbenro Ajibade’s, surname from her Instagram bio.
The 28-year-old screen goddess previously had her Instagram bio have her full name, Osas Ighodaro-Ajibade, displayed.
On Sunday, she deleted the husband’s surname.
It’s been a lingering topic among celebrities. Many were not sure what befell the once-upon-a-time enviable union of model/actor Gbenro Ajibade and his wife, Osas Ighodaro.
The entertaining celebrity couple got married in July 2015 and has a 2-year-old baby girl together.
In February 2019, Nollywood actor cum model Gbenro Ajibade opened up on why their marriage hit the wall.
This, he revealed on Instagramstory to lambast his estranged wife for bad parenting of their two-year old baby, Azariah.
The couple is separated.
Gbenro has relocated abroad while Osas still goes about her business in Nigeria.
According to Gbenro, Osas leaves their daughter at home while she parties all night and even once was said to have sent the baby home to the nanny through a stranger.
This recent move by Osas indicates what would befall the couple soon—a divorce.
“That is the next step for the couple,” a close friend of Osas told Kemiashefonlovehaven.
“Gbenro has relocated abroad, being cold to his wife and not ready for any reconcilation.Since his last rant on social media and the attack he got from everyone including celebrities, he made up his mind to leave Osas. On the other hand, Osas isn’t ready to jettison her dream and leave Nigeria to live abroad.
The couple refused reaching a compromise and that has led to this.”
