Afro-pop musician, Teni the Entertainer, has revealed that her elder sister, Niniola taught her how to sing.

The 25-year-old musician disclosed this in a chat with punchng.com

“As for Nini, she practically taught me how to sing and it is something I will always appreciate. My late father also loved music and he usually played songs a lot in the house.

“He really loved all his children and he did a lot to build our confidence and self-esteem. Many times, I wish he were here to see what we have made of our lives,” she said.

The ‘Case’ singer also added in the interview that she would like to have a family later on in her career but that she was firmly focused on her music presently.

Earlier in April, Teni had celebrated Niniola after she was followed on Instagram by Canadian rapper, Drake.

The sisters are the children of retired Brigadier-General Simeon Apata, who was assassinated on January 8, 1995.

He was the founder of Apata Memorial School, an elite military-style private boarding school in Lagos, founded in 1980.

Niniola and Teniola both attended the school.
