The ancient city of Ondo, Ondo State, on Friday played host to people from all walks of life as the Chairman of the Credit Switch Technology Limited, Chief Ope Bademosi, was buried on Friday Novenber 23, 2018
Bademosi was allegedly killed by his Togolese cook, Sunday Anani, at his Lagos residence on October 31, 2018. The suspect had since been arrested by the police and is being prosecuted for the murder.
At the funeral service held at the Cathedral Church of St. Stephens, Ondo, the Bishop of the Ondo Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Stephen Oni, in his sermon, urged Christians to always do good and walk in the way of God while alive.
He described the deceased as an inspirational leader.

He said, “The value of life is in its application in things we do. Both the rich and the poor will taste death, this world is a passing phase and whenever death strikes, it gives us all the opportunity to evaluate our relationship with God.”
Wife of the deceased, Ebunoluwa, described her late husband as a pillar of support and upholder of values and shared heritage.
In his tribute, the immediate past governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, described the deceased as an eminent and patriotic son of Ondo town.
Mimiko said, “He is a quintessential and patriotic Ondo son. He was loved by everybody. He was everybody’s friend across all age groups and social strata. He was a good man.”
Anani stabbed Bademosi thrice on the chest on October 31 – three days after he was employed.
He was said to have sneaked into the deceased’s room to perpetrate the act moments after the victim’s wife left the house to keep up with an appointment.
