This came as a shock to all who thought they had settled their rift and moving on with the relationship.
It seems actress Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Lanre Gentry, is out to send a message across to his wife.
In his usual form of congratulating everyone on Instagram especially celebrities, Gentry sent a congratulatory message to Ade Love’s son, Gabriel Afolayan on his wedding which took place last week.
He wrote:
“My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have ma your wife, the best, not the prostitute that we pretend as wife, ones again, congratulations, @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name .” (sic)
The couple had been on the war path since last April (2017) when Mercy shared photos of battered face and accused Lanre of assault. She moved out of their home in Omole, headed for a new apartment in Magodo, Lagos and the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs dragged Gentry to court for domestic violence.
But then, Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband, Gentry, who is a businessman was said to have done his best possible to bring back his wife to their matrimonial bed since she separated from him but Mercy hasn’t returned.
She is currently vacationing in the US with her two kids.
But Lanre, who must have been cautioned on his action has changed his initial message to Ade Love’s son.
He now posted on his page:
“My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best woman for you . @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name .”
