For 37-year-old celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, life took a new turn with the announcement of her engagement even when many don’t know who the lucky man is.
Congratulatory messages have been pouring out on Instagram on this ‘joyous occasion’ and many are praying to ‘hit a man’ who will engage them like Linda.
Her sister, Sandra, who Linda just bought a car worth N30m for, was the first family member to confirm the rumour.
Sandra wrote: “Congratulations @officiallindaikeji So happy for you sweet sis! This tells me that sometimes the wait is worth it. Can’t wait to plan your special day!’
Joining the array of people congratulating Linda is actress, Toyin Aimakhu.
She wrote “Congratulations to our very own Linda Ikeji for ticking one of the important boxes every woman has piled up on her list; as she got engaged to her heartthrob!

What asked in a previous interview the kind of man she wanted, Linda, who has enough wealth to flaunt replied:
“A man who supports what I do. The most important thing is a man who supports what I do. If he doesn’t support it, there is no Linda Ikeji and the person. That cannot happen. A man who respects women, who is kind-hearted, has his own money, has a job.”
