The Kano wedding, which held last weekend between Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje’s daughter, Hajiya Fatima and her groom, Idris Ajimobi, son of Governor Abiola Ajimobi, is still the talk-of-the-town.
Prominent personalities, including President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday attended, in Kano.
Other important personalities that attended the grand wedding fatiha were Senate President Bukola Saraki, 22 governors and 11 ministers as well as over 10 traditional rulers from across the country.
Currently, the couple had returned to Ibadan, the groom’s home. But before departing Kano for Ibadan, Idris and Fatima visited the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, who gave them his Royal blessing.
In Ibadan, the bride was treated to a grand reception by the Ajimobis, and she was showered with prayers and well-wishes.
The wedding ceremony will climax with a grand reception this weekend.
