Actor and former President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Ike, who is currently in Germany, must definitely be learning the ropes as a single father of four.
The actor, who received an award of excellence in Frankfurt, is obviously missing his children especially his daughter who shares a striking resemblance with her mum, Emma.
Emma divorced Emeka in March and left the four kids in his care.
Sharing a photo of his daughter and son, Emeka wrote:
“ I miss u mami… daddy loves u.”
Recall that Emeka was formally divorced from Emma, his wife of 17 years in March 2017 after much drama.
He still claims to love his former wife, who he knelt down and begged in court to make their marriage work
Emma refused him and seems not ready for reconciliation. “The marriage is over. I have moved on with my life. I am not willing to talk about it again. His actions have not shown that he’s remorseful,” Emma told a reporter recently when asked on her reaction to Emeka’s declaration of still wanting Emma despite the divorce.
Emeka confessed he cried for weeks when his wife left him.
Being a single father might not be too easy on him.
There was a time he lambasted Emma in one of his posts that almost caused a quarrel between him and a follower on social media.
Then, Emeka posted the photo of his four kids and wrote:
“They give me reason to smile. My everyday crush, love you all.”
As expected, his followers started responding and one said, “Appreciate your wife everyday for giving you these cuties!” (sic)
Promptly, Emeka, whose friends have supported him thus far and cast aspersion on his former spouse for ingratitude and infidelity, replied:
“Only GOD gives children, no human can… I gave, she received n delivered. Even “rats” makes babes … a mother is farrrrr different from “wife”. May GOD help our today wives to understand “motherhood” amen.” (sic)
